The world’s
most famous and popular messaging app Whatsapp now finally rolling out their
new update of Dark mode in Whatsapp for Android and iOS both because there is a
huge user of Whatsapp in both the
Android and iOS. So, they finally launched the new Dark Mode feature on
Whatsapp. Like many other popular massaging apps providing Dark Mode feature in
their apps. So Whatsapp was also working on this feature very long and even
they providing this dark mode on beta version but now finally they rolled out
the update for their official Whatsapp app.
The
Facebook-owned company informed this through their blog. "We are very
excited to update WhatsApp with the most requested feature from our users
everywhere - dark mode," it wrote.
Whatsapp
want to offer a fresh and new attractive look to their official Whatsapp app
and it also offers to reduce the eye strain in low light environments. The
company hopes to prevent the awkward moments where your phone lights up the room.
The company also want to provide good readability and a proper and clear view
even in Dark Mode.
They wanted
to minimize eye fatigue and use colors that are closer to the system defaults
on iPhone and Android respectively and also wanted to help users easily focus
their attention on each screen. They did this by using color and other design
elements to make sure the most important information stands out.
This new
Dark Mode feature will benefit about two billion users and the company was also
very excited to saw the reactions and work of the company.
How to turn on dark mode in WhatsApp:-
The company
said that users of Android 10 and iOS can enable it in system settings, while
on lower versions, they can go to WhatsApp Settings > Chats > Theme and
select ‘Dark’.
"Users
on Android 10 and iOS 13 can use dark mode by enabling it in system settings.
Users on Android 9 and below can go into WhatsApp Settings > Chats >
Theme > select ‘Dark’," WhatsApp said, adding "We hope everyone
enjoys dark mode, which is rolling out in the coming days on the latest version
of WhatsApp."
